Mad Dog Mc Cree

Avatar

Mad Dog McCree was the very first game that American Laser Games released back in 1990. a few years later, the game was so popularm that it was ported to various platforms. here's my review of Mad Dog McCree.

--Gameplay--
Since i'm reviewing the Sega CD version of Mad Dog McCree. all i can say is this unless you have a Menacer light gun, this game's basically an Full Motion Video point-and-click shooter. however unlike most shooters, instead of shooting the bad guys and sparing the lives of innocent bystanders. you'll have to pay attention and listen to what the characters say as well.

--graphics--
seeing that this is a FMV shooter that's been ported from a laserdisc hardware to an inferior CD-ROM based hardware, expect the video to be a little grainy.

--sound--
it's ok, but it can be hard to tell what the characters are saying, but like i said, the hardware plays a crucial part and it does the best he can.

--Story--
The story's decent, but predictable since there are some cliches that have been inspired by various westerns.

--overall--
if you're looking for a good game that's a point and shoot that makes you feel like a western movie legend like John Wayne, or Clint Eastwood. then pick up this classic.
