The legality of ROMs
Emucation.com's downloads are for backup and replacement purposes only; we in no way encourage piracy. In order to legally download a ROM you must own the original cartridge, disk, or chip-set. You, the user, are responsible for deciding if it's legal for you to own the ROM or not. Emucation.com can not be held responsible for our users actions.
What we do NOT host
Emucation.com only hosts "dead systems" that are no longer sold in stores. We do not host any "next generation" systems. These systems include: Playstation, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Xbox, Xbox 360, Ninendo 64, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Dual Screen, and PSP. We do not host emulations, ROMs, or ISOs for any of these systems. We also do not encourage the downloading of any of these systems. We are fully against software piracy.
